For the Matapouri Bay House, Targetti delivered tailored lighting solutions alongside Studio Studio that harmonize with the home’s natural materials and contemporary architectural lines. Partnering with Studio Studio, Studio Pritchard, and Gel Architects, the lighting fixtures provide a seamless lighting experience from the interior living spaces to the outdoor areas, enriching the home’s ambiance and enhancing each space’s functionality.
Key products used include the Targetti OZ track system, selected for its flexibility and minimalist profile, integrated into the ceiling structure to maintain a clean design. Minimal downlights from the IBL Cone range delivering outstanding performance and precise optics in a compact form, ensuring high visual comfort. Angled LED strip lighting, concealed within the transom, adds a soft glow to the ceiling, while integrated LEDs elegantly trace the staircase lines.
Custom wall sconces from the Nocturnal range, featuring brass backplates, enhance both bedside and general areas, adding a refined touch. Nocturnal brass step lights and inground fixtures highlight feature walls and illuminate pathways, providing subtle guidance along stairs and exterior paths.
